PERSPECTIVE DIRECTION OF CALCULATION AND DESIGN OF REINFORCING CARCASSES OF TENSION FIRE HOSES ON BASIS OF SYNTHETIC FIBERS

The physical and chemical properties of synthetic fibers of various compositions for reinforcing carcasses of pressure fire fibers, and their appointment and structure were de-noted. It is noted that due to the effect of negative factors (mechanical wear, impact of low and high temperatures, the action of sunlight, aging of the material, accidental release of chemically active substances, etc..) on pressure fire hoses at their exploitation, increased de-mands are imposed on the material of synthetic fibers of pressure fire hoses, the most im-portant of which is resistant to abrasion. The use of pressure fire hoses from polyester fibers based on PET shows that the main reason for breaking up the fibers at their exploitation is abrasion of the surface.

INVESTIGATION OF THERMAL PROCESSES OCCURING at HEATING OF CAPROLACTAM SOLUTIONS AND its CYCLIC OLIGOMERS IN AMORPHOUS areas OF POLYAMIDE-6

Samples of caprolactam and polyamide-6 granules of different composition prepared by drying methods, sublimation and extraction were investigated by thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry. The temperature range for the process of de-monomerization-drying of polyamide-6 granules was determined on the basis of the thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry data of submitted samples.

Spectrophotometric titration method was used to study the acidic properties of: 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(thienyl-2-yl)-2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethylporphyrin (I), 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4’-t-butylphenyl)-2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethylporphyrin (II), 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3,5-di-t-butylphe-nyl)-2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethylporphyrin (III), 5,10,15,20-tetraphenyl-2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethylporphyrin (IV), 5,15-bis(4’-methoxyphenyl)-10,20-bis(4-nitro-phenyl)-2,8,12,18-tetrame-thyl-3,7,13,17-tetraarylporphyrin (V), 5,15-bis(4’-methoxyphenyl)-10,20-diphenyl-2,3,7,8,12,13, 17,18-octaethylporphyrin (VI), 5,15-bis(4’-methoxyphenyl)-2,8,12,18-tetramethyl-3,7,10,13,17,20-hexaethylporphin (VII), 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4’-methoxyphenyl)-2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethylpor-phyrin (VIII) in the presence of a deprotonated agent, 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0] undec-7-ene, in acetonitrile.

COMPOSITION AND PROPERTIES OF CAPROLACTAM OLIGOMERS OBTAINED FROM EXTRACTION WATER DIRECTED TO REGENERATION

The analysis results of the extraction water forming at various steps of the solutions concentration in a process of its regeneration at the production of PA-6 at JSC “Kuibyshe-vAzot” allowed to recommend such compositions of reaction mixtures, directed to polymeri-zation, the content in which of OL corresponds to their equilibrium values in a polymer and to reduce the temperature of carrying out of concentrating the extraction water using an en-vironmentally safe heat carrier that is superheated steam.

CHANGING SOME PA-6 PROPERTIES AT ITS SYNTHESIS BELOW MELTING POINT

This paper presents the fractionation of PA-6 obtained at temperature below its melting point. Unfractionated samples and polymer fractions were studied by viscosimetry, thermogravimetry (TG, DTG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DTA). It was shown that at the first step of synthesis the polymer is formed with a predominantly linear structure and high parameters of thermal properties. At the second synthesis step the molecular weight of the polymer and its thermal properties increase and subsequent demonomerization-drying is accompanied by a further increase in the polyamide molecular weight.
